      I recently updated the Familysearch.org site with new photos and colorized others.                           

 I need your help. Please send any family photos you would like added to the family genealogy. Email them to tpepitone@aol.com A short bio would be also great to include with the picture. I am also adding information to the FamilySearch.org site which is a free ancestry site... Please include information on an individual that is not listed and any corrections. Thank you.

back any information that I may have. I have been moving the family information from the ancestry.com site to family search.org which is a free genealogy site.

Pipitone

 

Italian (Sicily): from Sicilian pipitone ‘hoopoe’, hence a nickname for someone thought to resemble the bird in some way. The term could also denote a stone-built figure used as a target by children, and so could have been a nickname for someone who was a regular victim of local children’s taunts or persecution.
